Rosé di Regaleali Sicilia

A Sicilian rosé that brings the energy of the island directly into the glass: bright salmon pink, clear fruit, invigorating freshness.

Tasca d'Almerita has been managing the Regaleali estate in the heart of Sicily since 1830 – far from the coast, at an altitude of 400 to 900 meters. The large temperature differences between day and night ensure that the grapes retain acidity and aromatic depth that one does not necessarily expect from a Mediterranean island. The Rosé di Regaleali is made exclusively from Nerello Mascalese from the estate, one of Sicily's most elegant red wine grapes.

On the nose, pomegranate, red currant and a hint of wild rose. Juicy and lively on the palate, with a clear line of acidity that keeps the wine slim. The finish is short to medium-long, fruity and dry – not a gram of excess residual sweetness. Falstaff recently awarded 91 points at the Rosé Trophy.

Drinking temperature: 8–10 °C. Pairs with grilled octopus, insalata di mare, ricotta ravioli with tomato sauce or a summery aperitivo with olives and pecorino.

Tasca d'Almerita

The Tasca d'Almerita family – across five estates, they have created something unique over two centuries: the harmony of wine and the art of living. Now in their eighth generation, they have long been part of Sicilian history. Regaleali, with 460 hectares in the heart of Sicily, is the centerpiece. In the 19th century, Villa Tasca was the center of social and artistic life. The Counts of Tasca have always stood for progress: technical innovations, new grape varieties, modern agricultural equipment – always combined with deep culture and a passion for their work. Sicily at its best.
