Huile d'Olive Vierge Extra Bouteillan ORGANIC 0.25l

An olive oil from Provence – one of France's oldest olive-growing regions, where the Mediterranean climate and Mistral winds allow the olives to ripen slowly and aromatically. Domaine Mira Luna cold-presses the Bouteillan olive as a single-varietal here – a rare variety from Haute-Provence, bottled as a small-batch cuvée d'exception.

The oil is positioned as green-fruity – a style that relies on early-harvested olives. Early harvest means higher polyphenol content, more intense aromas, and a characteristic bitter and peppery finish that indicates fresh quality. The small 250 ml bottle is ideal for using up the oil fresh and in optimal quality.

  • Cold-pressed, organically certified, single-varietal Bouteillan
  • Green-fruity: aromas of green tomato, fresh grass, artichoke
  • Peppery-spicy finish

Best used raw: over grilled fish, with goat cheese from Provence, on tomato tartine, or as a finish over a bouillabaisse. Pairs at the table with a dry white from Provence – a Vermentino or Rolle.

Domaine Mira Luna

Mira Luna – the name sounds like night, moonlight, and the quiet rustling of the vineyards. Coming from France, this winery stands for wines that tell more than just their vintage. These are wines that you don't just drink, but that make you pause for a moment – as if you were actually looking over quiet rows of vines under a clear night sky.

What excites us about Mira Luna is the palpable signature behind every drop. Here, wine is not vinified for mass taste, but with a view to the place, the vine, and the moment. Every bottle seems like the result of a conscious decision rather than a compromise – characterized by patience in the vineyard and restraint in the cellar, so that in the end exactly what the landscape itself has to say ends up in the glass.

Let yourself be surprised by these wines – preferably with a good glass in your hand when the evening slowly gets cooler and there is time for the quiet tones. Mira Luna is not a wine for a quick sip in between, but for moments when you take the time to taste carefully.
