Mount Riley is a family-run winery in the heart of Marlborough, New Zealand's most famous wine region. The cool nights and long hours of sunshine typical of the southern island climate provide ideal conditions for aromatically rich Sauvignon Blancs with vibrant freshness.
In the glass: Gooseberry and fresh lime take center stage, accompanied by hints of white grapefruit and passion fruit. The acidity is lively and invigorating, the finish clean and long. An uncomplicated wine that gets straight to the point.
Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs perfectly with seared scallops, green asparagus with Parmesan shavings, or tender spring onions. Also a reliable choice as a simple aperitif.

The Winery
Mount Riley – Marlborough, as John Buchanan experienced it as a little boy: paradise. In 1992, he realized his dream of having his own family winery, named after the peak of the Richmond Range.
Today, daughter Amy and son-in-law Matt run the estate in the sixth generation. Six vineyards in legendary Marlborough, warm days, cool nights, long ripening periods. The philosophy: friendliness, down-to-earthness, accessibility.
From Sauvignon Blanc to Pinot Noir – wines with intense aromas, with as little intervention as possible. Because a great wine is created in the vineyard, not in the cellar.
