Markus Schneider Hensel and Gretel White Wine

Markus Schneider Hensel and Gretel White Wine
A Palatinate white wine that bears two names: Thomas Hensel and Markus Schneider jointly developed this cuvée — two experienced winemakers, one shared idea.
The grapes grow on the dry, stony soils of the Palatinate, which demand low yields from the vines but produce more concentrated fruit. Markus Schneider is known in the Palatinate for meticulously crafted wines that combine approachability with genuine substance.
In the glass, it reveals fresh apple flesh, ripe peach, and a distinct citrus note. The mouthfeel is lively, the acidity well-integrated, and the finish clean and characterized by delicate fruit. Not a heavy wine—more of a companion for relaxed evenings.
Serving suggestion: Well chilled at 10–12 °C. Pairs well with tarte flambée, grilled vegetables, light poultry, or a summer salad with fresh goat cheese. Drink now.
