Markovich Chardonnay

The Markowitsch Chardonnay is an elegant, single-varietal white wine from the renowned Austrian wine region of Carnuntum in Lower Austria, vinified by the traditional Gerhard Markowitsch winery. In the glass, this Chardonnay presents itself in a light to medium straw to greenish-yellow hue, visually hinting at the freshness and purity of the grapes. The nose reveals the expressive interplay of aromas characteristic of this classic Burgundy grape variety: fragrant, exotic notes of pineapple, kiwi, and mango mingle with clearer aromas of pear and apple – supported by subtle nuances of hazelnut and lemon zest, which add further complexity. On the palate, the Markowitsch Chardonnay is finely structured and harmonious, characterized by lively, well-integrated acidity and a fragrant, fruity character.
