Lepanto PX Solera Gran Reserva Brandy de Jerez 36% vol 0.7L

Lepanto PX Solera Gran Reserva is a Brandy de Jerez made from Palomino Fino that combines the depth of a long-aged distillate with the sweetness of Pedro Ximénez. It comes from González Byass from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, and is deliberately blended to be soft and accessible at 36% ABV.

After twelve years of aging in the Solera system, three years of finishing in barrels of the house's own Noé PX follow. From there comes the dark, sweet character: raisins, cocoa and dried fruits are in the foreground. The texture is silky, the style round and dessert-like, without losing the structure of an aged brandy.

Recommendation: neat at room temperature in a tulip glass, after a meal or for a social evening. Also good to drink with an ice cube. Dark chocolate, almond cookies or a strong blue cheese go well with it.
