LAN Rioja Reserva DOCa

A classic Rioja Reserva that fully exploits the strengths of Tempranillo: ripe red fruit, subtle spice, and the characteristic vanilla note of American oak.

Bodegas LAN is located in the heart of the Rioja Alta, one of the most renowned sub-regions of the DOCa Rioja. The bodega stands for consistently artisanal vinification with a focus on the classic Rioja style: Tempranillo as the backbone, supplemented by Mazuelo for color and structure as well as Garnacha for fullness.

In the glass, the Reserva shows aromas of sour cherry, blackberry, and dried herbs. After 12 months in American oak barrels, vanilla and a hint of coconut are added — softly integrated, not intrusive. Two more years of bottle aging smooth out the tannins: medium body, velvety texture, spicy finish with good length.
