Gran Dominio Rioja Reserva

Recently, more and more producers have adopted the strategy of producing fruitier Riojas with less oak. The internationally renowned Bodegas LAN is also following this trend, producing the Gran Dominio Reserva for Tierras y Vinas in a modern style. The grapes for this Rioja are purchased from partner growers and vinified by Bodegas LAN's winemakers. The Gran Dominio Reserva is primarily Tempranillo, complemented by a touch of Garnacha and Mazuelo. The wine matures for six months in American and six months in French oak barrels, followed by another 24 months in the bottle before release. A beautiful cherry-red Reserva with hints of orange-brown. The nose offers soft, fragrant vanilla and ripe red fruits. The palate is surprisingly velvety with abundant flavors of cassis and blackberries.
