La Grange Terroir Syrah Cabanisse

A Syrah that shows the Languedoc from its approachable side: juicy fruit, vibrant spice and a body that prioritizes elegance over weight.

The La Grange winery lies in the heart of the Languedoc, one of France's most biodiverse wine regions. The Terroir series is the estate's centerpiece—each plot, with its own unique soil and climate characteristics, brings a grape variety to its optimal location. Cabanisse is the site where this Syrah develops its character: Mediterranean warmth, yet with sufficient freshness for structure and length.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red color. The nose offers ripe blackberry and sour cherry, along with black pepper and a hint of lavender—typical for Syrah from the southern French hinterland. On the palate, it is juicy, with a medium body and soft tannins. The acidity remains lively, and the finish is spicy and fresh with a lingering peppery note.
