La Grange Terroir Sauvignon Blanc

A Sauvignon Blanc from the Languedoc that shows what Mediterranean soils can do with the grape variety: not soft indulgence, but clear fruit with tension.

The La Grange winery is located in the Hérault, one of the oldest wine regions in the Languedoc. The Terroir line is created from yield-restricted cultivation on calcareous soils – the result is an aroma and structure that one does not always expect here.

In the glass, aromas of citrus peel, melon and a hint of gooseberry. Fresh and lively on the palate, carried by a mineral-herbal acidity that makes the wine seem long and precise. Not a heavy, alcohol-driven Southern French wine – rather cool and direct.
