Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay

Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay
One of the best-selling Chardonnays in the USA – and has been for over three decades. The Vintner's Reserve is the core of Kendall-Jackson's range: accessible, but with real craftsmanship behind it.
Kendall-Jackson was founded in 1982 by Jess Jackson in California's Sonoma County. The Vintner's Reserve is a multi-regional cuvée from grapes from California's coastal sites – primarily from Santa Barbara County, Monterey, and Sonoma. The cooler maritime influences of these sites provide grapes with natural fruit acidity, which gives the wine freshness. A portion of the wine matures in oak barrels – hence the creamy texture and the subtle wood aromas.
In the glass, it shows ripe mango, pineapple, and papaya, complemented by citrus and a hint of vanilla and honey from the wood aging. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and soft, with a pleasant residual sweetness that is kept in balance by a lively acidity. The finish is long, warm, and buttery.
- Food pairing: Chicken in cream sauce, grilled salmon, creamy pasta, or mild goat cheese
- Drinking temperature: 10–12 °C

For over 40 years , Kendall-Jackson has been one of California's most recognizable faces in the glass. What began in 1982 with a clear conviction – to craft great wines from the best vineyards of the coastal region – is today a winery that understands sustainability not as a trend, but as a core principle.
The grapes grow along the Californian coast, where cool sea breezes and plenty of sunshine produce wines with freshness, depth, and a distinctive character. Whether it's the iconic Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay or lighter styles from the LIGHT Collection, at Kendall-Jackson you get wines that are honestly made and simply fun to drink.
