Jacopo Poli Airone Rosso Aperitivo

Jacopo Poli Airone Rosso Aperitivo
Herbs, wormwood, and spices macerated in grappa—the Airone Rosso from Jacopo Poli is an aperitivo with a clear origin. The distillery in Schiavon (Veneto) has been producing top-quality grappa for decades; the Airone Rosso transfers this precision to the realm of aromatized wine. It's based on a family recipe over 70 years old, combining wormwood with an herbal infusion—the botanicals steep in grappa, giving the result more depth than a classic sweet wine aperitivo.
Deep ruby red in the glass. On the nose, bitter herbs, dried orange peel, and a hint of anise. On the palate, herbaceous and spicy with a pleasant bitterness and a long, dry finish. Neat on ice, as a spritz with Prosecco and sparkling water, or as the base for a Negroni twist.

Po' di Poli – unassuming in name, masterful in glass. For this grappa from the Poli distillery, the addition of "Morbida" (soft, gentle) perfectly captures its essence. The pomace comes from Muscat Blanc grapes grown in the Euganean Hills and is distilled drip-fresh in a copper pot still using the traditional, discontinuous method. The master distiller skillfully separates the heads and tails, retaining only the exquisite heart of the distillate. After six months of rest in stainless steel tanks, the grappa is gently filtered. The result: a grappa of gentle softness and delicate aroma. Truly Poli.
