Grappa Riserva 8 years 43% vol. individually in a black lacquered wooden box 0.7L

The Grappa Riserva 8 Years from Nonino is an aged pomace brandy from Friuli, bottled at 43% ABV. It belongs to the grappas that are better drunk neat like a brandy or whisky rather than as a quick nightcap.

Nonino Distillatori is considered one of Italy's most famous grappa houses. The brandy is distilled discontinuously in copper stills and then matures for more than eight years in small wooden barrels. The long storage gives it its warm, amber color.

Vanilla, dried fruits, and honey appear on the nose, along with subtle spice notes and fine wood spice. On the palate, it is velvety, with balanced sweetness and a clear structure. The finish is long and combines fruit with wood notes.

We recommend it neat at room temperature in a tulip glass, as a digestif after a festive meal. It comes individually in a black lacquered wooden box, making it also suitable as a gift.

The Distillery

Nonino Distillatori

Nonino Distillatori from Percoto in Friuli has reinvented grappa – and that is no exaggeration. For generations, the Nonino family has been distilling with a passion that you can feel in every sip.

What was once considered a rustic pomace brandy drink, Nonino has turned into an elegant world-class spirit. The three sisters Cristina, Antonella and Elisabetta continue the legacy of their parents Giannola and Benito today – and were named the best distillery in the world in 2020. A merit that shows in every detail: from the hand-blown Murano bottles to the aged Gran Riserva.
