The Lo Chardonnay is a monovarietal grappa from Italy, distilled from Chardonnay pomace: clear in the glass, fine in scent and designed for elegance rather than power. This gift pack contains two bottles from the Grappe Vigneti series, each 0.7 liters with 41% ABV.

Nonino Distillatori comes from Friuli and is considered the house that made single-varietal grappa famous. Instead of a blend of mixed pomace, a single grape variety is the focus here, and the distillation precisely brings out its character.

In the scent, you will find fruity and floral nuances, carried by the typical Chardonnay aroma. On the palate, the grappa feels balanced, with a clear structure and a persistent finish.

Recommendation: Serve it at about 10 to 12 °C in a small tulip glass, classically as a digestif after a meal, for example after fish, risotto or a plate of mild cheese. As a set with two bottles, it is also suitable for giving as a gift for special occasions.

Nonino Distillatori from Percoto in Friuli has reinvented grappa – and that is no exaggeration. For generations, the Nonino family has been distilling with a passion that you can feel in every sip.

What was once considered a rustic pomace brandy drink, Nonino has turned into an elegant world-class spirit. The three sisters Cristina, Antonella and Elisabetta continue the legacy of their parents Giannola and Benito today – and were named the best distillery in the world in 2020. A merit that shows in every detail: from the hand-blown Murano bottles to the aged Gran Riserva.
