The ÙE Riserva is a grape brandy (Acquavite d'Uva) from Friuli, which Nonino released as a special edition for the brand's 40th anniversary. It comes from single-varietal grape distillates that mature for five years in barriques and comes into the bottle at 43% ABV.

Nonino Distillatori is considered a pioneer of Italian premium grappa and grape brandies. The house distills discontinuously in stills and focuses on the aromas of the individual grape varieties. Five years of wood aging give the distillate depth and an intense amber color.

In the glass, fruity and floral notes meet vanilla, almonds, and dried fruit. On the palate, the brandy feels elegant and spicy; fruit and wood interlock, and the finish remains long.

Recommendation: neat at room temperature in a tulip glass, after an extensive meal or with dark chocolate with a high cocoa content. A few drops of water open up the aromas additionally.
