Amaro Imperiale Quintessentia Di Erbe 35% vol Nonino Distillatori

The Amaro Imperiale Quintessentia di Erbe is an Italian herbal liqueur with 35% vol. It balances bitterness and sweetness and is one of the classics among amari.

It is produced by Nonino Distillatori, a family-run distillery from Friuli in north-eastern Italy. The base is a grape brandy that has been matured in barriques. Herbs, roots and spices are macerated in it, giving the amaro its depth.

On the nose, herbs, spicy seasonings and a subtle citrus freshness are revealed. On the palate, a harmonious bitter-sweetness meets a silky texture. The finish is long and brings together bitter and herbal tones.

Classically as a digestif after a rich meal, neat in a small glass or on ice with an orange zest. It also adds a clear accent to cocktails that need an herb-forward profile.

Nonino Distillatori

Nonino Distillatori from Percoto in Friuli has reinvented grappa – and that is no exaggeration. For generations, the Nonino family has been distilling with a passion that you can feel in every sip.

What was once considered a rustic pomace brandy drink, Nonino has turned into an elegant world-class spirit. The three sisters Cristina, Antonella and Elisabetta continue the legacy of their parents Giannola and Benito today – and were named the best distillery in the world in 2020. A merit that shows in every detail: from the hand-blown Murano bottles to the aged Gran Riserva.
