Grappa Il Prosecco Monovitigno aged in barrique 41% vol. 0.7L

A monovitigno grappa from Italy: The pomace comes from a single grape variety, the Prosecco (Glera), and the distillate matures in barriques. The result is a clearly defined pomace brandy in which the fruit of the grape variety is in the foreground and the wood only sets accents.

Nonino Distillatori from Friuli is considered a pioneer of varietal grappa. With the monovitigno concept, the Nonino family put the individual grape variety at the center instead of mixing pomace from different varieties. Distillation is carried out artisanally and discontinuously in copper stills, batch by batch. This ensures precise, clean aromas.

In the glass are clear fruit, fine vanilla, and light roasted notes that come from the barrique. The wood aromas wrap around the fruit instead of covering it up. On the palate, the grappa feels round and balanced, and the finish lasts a long time. 41% vol., 0.7 l.

Let the grappa breathe briefly in the glass and serve it neat at 16 to 18 °C in a tulip-shaped glass, for example after a meal with an espresso or on a convivial evening.
