L'Aperitivo Nonino is a botanical drink with 21% vol. based on herbs and citrus, made for the Italian aperitivo: bitter-aromatic, with moderate sweetness.

Behind the liqueur is Nonino Distillatori, the distillery from Friuli in northeastern Italy, which is primarily known for its grappas and distillates. With this aperitivo, the house transfers this experience to an herbal liqueur that is deliberately designed in the aperitivo style.

In the aroma and on the palate, bitter orange is at the forefront, accompanied by herbs and fine spice. The moderate sweetness rounds off the bitter notes, so the liqueur remains balanced and does not feel heavy.

Recommendation: serve well chilled. Neat on ice with a slice of orange, lengthened with soda, or as a spritz with Prosecco. Fits the terrace, the start of a dinner, or a social gathering.

Nonino Distillatori from Percoto in Friuli has reinvented grappa – and that is no exaggeration. For generations, the Nonino family has been distilling with a passion that you can feel in every sip.

What was once considered a rustic pomace brandy drink, Nonino has turned into an elegant world-class spirit. The three sisters Cristina, Antonella and Elisabetta continue the legacy of their parents Giannola and Benito today – and were named the best distillery in the world in 2020. A merit that shows in every detail: from the hand-blown Murano bottles to the aged Gran Riserva.
