A Grappa Riserva from several grape varieties: The AnticaCuvée from Nonino matures for five years in barriques and is bottled at 43% vol. It is a limited cuvée that focuses on fruitiness and elegance.

Nonino Distillatori comes from Friuli and is one of the most famous grappa distilleries in Italy. For this cuvée, Ribolla, Moscato, and Malvasia provide fruity and floral notes, while Merlot and Refosco give the distillate structure and fullness.

In the glass, it shows an amber tone. On the palate, the brandy is velvety, round, and persistent, accompanied by harmonious spice, over which the fruit of the aromatic varieties remains perceptible.

Recommendation: neat at room temperature in a tulip glass, as the end of a meal, or for a social evening. Dark chocolate with a high cocoa content goes well with it.

What was once considered a rustic pomace brandy drink, Nonino has turned into an elegant world-class spirit. The three sisters Cristina, Antonella and Elisabetta continue the legacy of their parents Giannola and Benito today – and were named the best distillery in the world in 2020. A merit that shows in every detail: from the hand-blown Murano bottles to the aged Gran Riserva.
