Nonino Grappa Monovitigno il Chardonnay in barrique

Nonino Grappa Monovitigno il Chardonnay in Barrique is a refined and elegant grappa made from carefully selected Chardonnay grapes. A short aging period in small oak barrels gives it not only a light amber color but also complex aromas of fresh bread, vanilla, and pastries. On the palate, it entices with notes of delicate chocolate and freshly peeled almonds. Artisanal distillation: Discontinuous distillation with the separation of heads and tails, created in exclusive steam stills by Benito Nonino. The distillation process is very slow to ensure proper evaporation followed by condensation; in this way, the organoleptic properties of each grape variety are preserved. Whether enjoyed, sipped, savored after a meal, or at any time of day, it is a delight! The Riserva in Barriques variety is ideal with foie gras, dark chocolate, or chocolate-based desserts. Nonino Distillatori

Nonino Distillatori from Percoto in Friuli has reinvented grappa – and that's no exaggeration. For generations, the Nonino family has distilled with a passion that can be tasted in every sip.

What was once considered a rustic pomace brandy has been transformed by Nonino into an elegant, world-class spirit. The three sisters Cristina, Antonella, and Elisabetta now carry on the legacy of their parents, Giannola and Benito – and were named the best distillery in the world in 2019. This achievement is evident in every detail: from the hand-blown Murano glass bottles to the 30-year-old Gran Riserva.
