Grappa Nonino Vendemmia Bianca clear distillate 40% vol. 0.5L

The Grappa Nonino Vendemmia Bianca is a clear pomace brandy from Friuli with 40% vol. It relies on fruit rather than power and shows how fine a grappa can be.

Nonino Distillatori is considered one of Italy's defining distilling families and has helped shape the grappa culture far beyond Friuli. For the Vendemmia Bianca, the house uses fresh, single-varietal pomace, which is processed gently so that the aromas of the grapes are preserved.

In the glass, the distillate is clear and colorless. On the nose, apricot, green apple, and raisins meet. On the palate, it appears soft and precise, the fruit notes remain clearly recognizable, the finish is long.

Recommendation: neat at about 10 to 12 °C in a tulip glass, best after a meal. It also goes well with dark chocolate or an espresso.

What was once considered a rustic pomace brandy drink, Nonino has turned into an elegant world-class spirit. The three sisters Cristina, Antonella and Elisabetta continue the legacy of their parents Giannola and Benito today – and were named the best distillery in the world in 2020. A merit that shows in every detail: from the hand-blown Murano bottles to the aged Gran Riserva.
