GB Blanc Weiß-& Grauburgunder dry QW Rheingau

Weißburgunder and Grauburgunder from the Rheingau, vinified dry: The GB Blanc is an uncomplicated white wine with a clear line and enough substance for the table.

Georg Breuer is one of the well-known names in the Rheingau, a region primarily known for Riesling. With the GB Blanc, the winery focuses on the two Pinot varieties and shows how independently they can succeed here. The cuvée comes into the bottle as a quality wine, dry.

In the glass, ripe stone fruit and white blossoms appear. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and finely structured; the acidity remains subtle and provides balance and drinkability. The finish is balanced and clean.

Recommendation: light cuisine, fried fish, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or a fresh goat cheese with herbs. Also a good companion solo for a convivial evening. Serve it at 8 to 10 °C.

The Winery

Weingut Georg Breuer

Weingut Georg Breuer from Rüdesheim – Rieslings you won't forget. Clear, precise, full of character.

The steep slopes on the Berg Schlossberg, with terraces of up to 65 percent incline, are no place for machines. Here, manual labor, experience, and a good instinct count. Only the best grapes make it into the bottle – the rest stays out. That is an attitude, not a promise.

In the glass: mandarin peel, red apple, white peach. Slim, lively, straightforward.

And a special detail: every year, an artist designs the label of the Berg Schlossberg. An invitation to take a close look – at the bottle and at what is inside it.
