Faustino V Blanco Rioja

A fresh white wine from Rioja that showcases the aromatic side of the region – uncomplicated, lively and with a clear fruit profile.

Faustino is one of the most renowned wineries in Rioja and cultivates one of the largest contiguous vineyard holdings in Spain. The grapes for the Faustino V Blanco – predominantly Viura , complemented by a small percentage of Chardonnay – come from the estate's own vineyards in the heart of Rioja. Cool, controlled fermentation temperatures preserve the natural aromatic profile of the grape varieties.

In the glass, the wine displays aromas of green apple and pear , underpinned by a subtle herbal note. The palate is fresh, with lively acidity and a clean, short finish.

Faustino

Bodegas Faustino is one of Rioja's leading wineries – founded in Oyón in 1861, now in its fourth generation of family ownership, and a global brand. The winery stands for patience and consistency: wines are only released when they have reached their perfect ripeness. Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo, and Viura grapes thrive on approximately 650 hectares in the Rioja Alavesa region, in calcareous soil and a cool Atlantic climate. The Faustino I Gran Reserva is considered the world's best-selling Gran Reserva, and its distinctive label, featuring Rembrandt's portrait of the merchant Nicolaes van Bambeeck, has become a symbol of Rioja's excellence.
