Enate Tempranillo DO

Enate Tempranillo DO
An approachable red wine from Aragon that showcases the fruity side of Tempranillo – without the heaviness of some Spanish red wines.
Enate is located in Somontano, one of Spain's most modern wine-growing regions, nestled between the Pyrenees and the Ebro Valley. Founded in 1992, the winery operates according to clear principles: meticulous vinification, varietal purity, and moderate aging. The Tempranillo DO is the classic entry point into the Enate portfolio – perfect for everyday enjoyment and clearly expressing its varietal character.
In the glass, it displays a deep, dark red color. The nose offers aromas of cherry and strawberry, along with a hint of tobacco and earthy depth. On the palate, chocolate emerges, accompanied by a soft vanilla note and a medium body with pleasantly mild tannins. The finish is short to medium and pleasing – a smooth, well-rounded red wine.
Serving suggestion: Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs well with tapas, grilled chorizo, albóndigas, or a simple pasta ragù. Also suitable as an uncomplicated evening drink. Drink now – no need for aging.
