Dalberger Ritterhölle Riesling dry 1st Growth VDP - QW Nahe 0.75L
A Riesling that bears the signature of its location: The Dalberger Ritterhölle is one of the most famous single vineyards in the Nahe region — green slate soil that gives the wine a cool minerality and precise acid structure.
The Prinz Salm winery cultivates this VDP.Erste Lage (Grand Cru) vineyard with the aim of capturing the character of the soil in the bottle. The Erste Lage classification signifies controlled yields and hand-harvesting, which emphasizes the expression of the vineyard site.
In the glass, this is a dry Riesling with the typical aromas of the green slate: citrus peel, white peach, and a delicate hint of flint in the background. The acidity is lively but integrated—not a sharp cut, but a long-lasting, saline line that extends into the finish.
Best served between 10 and 12 °C . Pairs well with pan-fried pike-perch with caper butter, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or a young goat cheese. Drinking window 2025–2030.
