Cuvée Blanc

Spreitzer's Cuvée Blanc is a complex white wine that combines four grape varieties into a harmonious whole: Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Pinot Blanc from the Rheingau region.

The Spreitzer winery is one of the most reliable names in the Rheingau – a family that cultivates its vineyards between Oestrich and Winkel with meticulous care and is known for precise, fruit-forward wines. The Cuvée Blanc showcases what the Rheingau has to offer beyond classic Riesling: lemon zest and light apple take center stage, followed by a fine, creamy texture from the Chardonnay component. The acidity is lively but not sharp – the finish is fresh and crisp.

Served well chilled at 8–10 °C , it pairs perfectly with goat cheese salad, grilled salmon with herbs, or a light risotto. It also makes a great, uncomplicated aperitif to kick off a summer evening. Ready to drink now, no long storage required.

The German Spreitzer winery in the Rheingau region was founded in 1641 and is now owned by Andreas and Bernd Spreitzer. Located directly on the Rhine, near the cities of Mainz and Wiesbaden, it boasts a total vineyard area of 22 hectares spread across four vineyard sites. Among the winery's finest sites are Oestricher Lenchen and Doosberg. A unique feature of the estate is its vaulted cellar, dating back to 1745, where the wines are stored. The soils of the vineyards consist of loess loam, marl, and, in some areas, quartzite, providing the vines with excellent water supply thanks to the proximity to the Rhine. Spreitzer cultivates 97% Riesling grapes and only a small percentage of Pinot Noir. The winery produces and sells approximately 160,000 bottles of wine annually.
