The Gesellmann winery is one of the established addresses in Central Burgenland and is primarily known for powerful red wines. That the family also pursues a precise, modern style with Chardonnay is shown by this quality wine: the grapes benefit from the Pannonian climate with hot summers and cool nights — a combination that ensures ripeness and freshness in equal measure.

In the glass, it shows aromas of yellow apple, ripe pear, and a hint of white blossoms. The palate is medium-weight with lively acidity, which keeps the wine light-footed despite its fullness. The finish is clean and fresh, without intrusive wood notes.

Best served at 10–12 °C — as an accompaniment to pan-fried chicken, pasta with cream sauce, mild goat cheese, or grilled vegetables. It also makes a fine uncomplicated aperitif.
