Casa Rojo Minami II

The Casa Rojo Minami II comes from the house of Casa Rojo — a Spanish project that has been dedicated for years to tracking down expressive wines from lesser-known regions and grape varieties. The name "Minami" points to Japanese influence in their philosophy: openness, curiosity, quality without compromise.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red. The nose opens with ripe dark fruits — blackberry, plum — complemented by fine spice and a hint of licorice. On the palate, it is softly structured, with silky tannins and an invigorating fruit acidity that gives the wine liveliness. The finish is pleasantly long, with light hints of clove and dark chocolate.

Served at 16–18 °C, it unfolds its full aromatic potential. At the table, it pairs well with grilled lamb, chorizo tapas, or a hearty lentil stew with bell peppers. It also cuts a fine figure on its own, as an uncomplicated evening wine.
