Care Tinto Sobre Lias Garnacha / Syrah

Care Tinto Sobre Lias Garnacha/Syrah is a powerful, fruit-forward red wine from the Spanish region of Cariñena, made from a blend of approximately 75% Garnacha and 25% Syrah . The grapes ripen on barren, calcareous, and gravelly soils, resulting in concentrated, ripe fruit flavors combined with well-integrated tannins and structuring acidity.

In the glass, it displays a dark, intense cherry red with violet reflections. The nose is rich and complex, with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, black cherry, a touch of strawberry, and hints of toffee, coffee, vanilla, and subtle roasted spice , which comes from a brief aging in small oak barrels. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, juicy, and very well-rounded, with powerful yet harmonious fruit, a fine oak note, and a smooth texture, further enhanced by the lees aging.

The finish is long, lingeringly fruity and spicy, with delicate roasted aromas and soft tannins. Served at around 14–16 °C , the Care Tinto Sobre Lias pairs perfectly with grilled beef or lamb, braised dishes, pasta with hearty sauces, or aged cheeses. A Mediterranean red wine with a distinct character that remains both enjoyable and approachable.
