Care Garnacha Blanco Nativa

Care Garnacha Blanco Nativa
Garnacha Blanca is rare on the white wine shelf – and that is exactly what makes this Care Nativa interesting. Bodegas Añadas vinifies it in the Aragonese DO Cariñena, one of Spain's oldest wine-growing regions, from indigenous Garnacha Blanca vines that take root in barren, calcareous soil and develop their aromatics through the continental climate between hot days and cool nights.
In the glass, it appears juicy and present: ripe white peach and pear fruit, a hint of floral scent, plus a lively acid structure that keeps the wine fresh and easy to drink. The finish is medium-length, slightly mineral, without heaviness.
- Food: Tapas, grilled seafood, light fish casserole or young Manchego
- Temperature: 10–12 °C
An uncomplicated summer wine for an evening on the terrace – and a good opportunity to get to know a wrongly rare white grape variety from Spain.
