Care Finca Bancales Garnacha Reserva

Finca Bancales is a red wine made from 100% Garnacha grapes grown on calcareous soils from vines up to 80 years old. The grapes are selected from various vineyard sites and fermented with natural yeasts. This beautiful red wine then matures for 14 months in oak barrels. Bottled in June 2013, it offers aromas of toasted bread, spices, and smoke, with a harmonious core of red and black cherries. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fine tannins, moderate acidity, clean flavors, and good persistence, showing some emerging complexity and a chalky sensation towards the finish. Bodegas Añadas

The Spanish winery Bodegas Añadas is located in the northeast of the country, in the Aragón region, and was founded in 1932. This region has a Mediterranean climate characterized by strong contrasts between day and night, with temperature fluctuations of up to 10°C. The winery's vineyards lie at altitudes between 500 and 900 meters above sea level. Bodegas Añadas' total vineyard area is 16,000 hectares, divided into four different sites (Bancales, Cadillos, Peñanegra, and Zagalcerro). Grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Syrah, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay are cultivated on this extensive land. All CARE wines have been vegan since the 2017 and 2018 vintages.
