Bourgogne Chardonnay

A classic Bourgogne Chardonnay that shows what the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise can achieve even from young vines: fresh fruit, clear minerality and a lively acid structure.

Domaine Chanson is one of the oldest estates in the Côte de Beaune – founded in 1750 in Beaune, and now part of the Bollinger Group. The grapes for this entry-level Burgundy come from several parcels, predominantly from young vines. Not a prestigious single-vineyard wine, but an honest, handcrafted wine from one of the world's most renowned Chardonnay producers.

Pale yellow in the glass with green reflections. The nose offers aromas of ripe pear, a hint of mango, and fresh honey, underpinned by a delicate minerality. On the palate, it is lean and crisp, with well-integrated acidity and no harshness. The finish brings back notes of lemon zest and a touch of chalk.

Domaine Chanson

Domaine Chanson, founded in 1750, is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Burgundy. It is among the few estates that have survived since the 18th century. Since 1999, it has been part of the Bollinger Group, which has undertaken extensive restorations and modernizations to make the winery one of the finest in Burgundy. Nestled amidst picturesque hills, the 45 hectares of vineyards flourish in the most prestigious appellations, including Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, and Chablis. Here, tradition and modernity blend seamlessly, creating a unique symbiosis that imparts a distinctive character to each wine. The historic Bastion, a 15th-century wine cellar, is the heart of the estate. Within these venerable walls, the wines mature to true perfection under ideal conditions. Each bottle tells a story of dedication and craftsmanship.
