Bollinger PNTX 20

Bollinger PNTX 20
A single-varietal Pinot Noir Champagne that perfectly encapsulates Bollinger's philosophy: terroir first, technology at the service of the wine. PNTX20 stands for Pinot Noir, the Premier Cru village of Tauxières in the Montagne de Reims, and the base vintage of 2020.
The blend combines 48% of the 2020 harvest with 52% reserve wines – including the 2019 vintage aged in oak barrels, as well as wines from 2008 and 2012 matured in Bollinger magnum bottles. Complementary crus from Aÿ and Avenay add further complexity to the cuvée. The result: an unusual depth for a non-vintage Champagne, with aromas of red fruit, brioche, and a mineral, lingering finish.
Serving temperature 9–11 °C. Pairs well with pigeon, sweetbreads or strong Comté cheese.
Bollinger is not a champagne that explains itself – it reveals itself. Since 1829, the house in Aÿ has operated according to the same principles: meticulous craftsmanship, Pinot Noir at its core, and maturity as a mark of quality.
What sets Bollinger apart from many others: The wines are vinified in genuine oak barrels – a process that hardly anyone else undertakes anymore. Riddling and disgorging are done by hand. No shortcuts, no simplifications.
Whether the approachable Special Cuvée or the legendary Vieilles Vignes Françaises from pre-phylloxera vines – there is real attitude in every glass.
