Bollinger La Grande Année

Bollinger's prestige cuvée, made exclusively from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, is vinified in small, used oak barrels, aged under natural cork for at least six years on the lees, and hand-riddled and disgorged. This level of craftsmanship is rare among Grandes Marques wines today.

In the glass: golden color, fine bubbles. On the nose, cherry, quince, and bergamot, underpinned by hazelnut, mirabelle plum, and an iodine-rich mineral note. On the palate, a dense, creamy texture, balanced acidity, and a long, saline finish with citrus and fruit flavors.

Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Drinking window open, with aging potential in the cellar. Pairs well with scallops with citrus butter, scampi ravioli or grilled sea bass.

Bollinger Champagne

Bollinger is not a champagne that explains itself – it reveals itself. Since 1829, the house in Aÿ has operated according to the same principles: meticulous craftsmanship, Pinot Noir at its core, and maturity as a mark of quality.

What sets Bollinger apart from many others: The wines are vinified in genuine oak barrels – a process that hardly anyone else undertakes anymore. Riddling and disgorging are done by hand. No shortcuts, no simplifications.

Whether the approachable Special Cuvée or the legendary Vieilles Vignes Françaises from pre-phylloxera vines – there is real attitude in every glass.
