Reserva Magnum

A classic Rioja Reserva in magnum format — more volume means slower maturation and therefore more depth in the glass.

Baron de Ley is one of the most renowned wineries in Rioja. The estate is situated on the banks of the Ebro River in the Rioja Baja region, and the main building is a former 16th-century Benedictine monastery. The Reserva is the estate's signature wine: predominantly Tempranillo, produced according to the strict Rioja Reserva regulations.

This wine matures for 20 months in American oak barrels , followed by at least two years of bottle aging. American oak imparts its characteristic profile to the Tempranillo: aromas of blackberry and plum, along with vanilla, coconut, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it has a medium to full body, velvety tannins, and a warm finish with a spicy note.

The magnum format is ideal for dinner parties — served at 16–18 °C with herb-crusted leg of lamb, Ibérico pork, or aged Manchego cheese. Drinking window: now until 2028.
