Alie Rosé Toscana

Alìe Rosé Toscana IGT from Frescobaldi is an elegant rosé from the Tenuta Ammiraglia estate in the Tuscan Maremma. It is made from a blend of Syrah and Vermentino grapes, which thrive near the Mediterranean Sea on sandy, well-drained soils, giving the wine freshness, fruitiness, and a delicate minerality. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed, and fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This is followed by several months of aging on the fine lees, which imparts structure and creaminess.

In the glass, it displays a delicate, luminous salmon pink** with fine reflections. The nose unfolds an enticing bouquet with aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries, white blossoms, white peach, and citrus fruits, complemented by subtle notes of Mediterranean herbs such as thyme and rosemary. On the palate, the Alìe Rosé is fresh, lively, and juicy, with a clear yet harmonious acidity that ensures drinkability and lightness. The structure is light but not watery, with a mineral-salty touch and a long, invigorating, delicately fruity finish.

With approximately 12% alcohol and a serving temperature of around 8–10 °C, Alìe Rosé Toscana is perfect as an aperitif, summer wine, or patio wine. It pairs wonderfully with fish, seafood, salads, light pasta dishes, or Mediterranean appetizers with goat's cheese or other fresh cheeses.

Frescobaldi

Marchesi de' Frescobaldi is one of Tuscany's great names – and has been for some 700 years. Today, the family manages nine individual estates, from the cool Apennine slopes of Pomino to Chianti Rufina and the Maremma coast, clearly capturing the unique characteristics of each terroir in the bottle. Tiziana, Lamberto, and Diana Frescobaldi run the estate as the 30th generation, with the same commitment as their ancestors: to take tradition seriously without sacrificing innovation. Since 2012, all estates have held the AgriQualità certification of the Tuscany region; Castello Nipozzano and Castello Pomino were also the first Tuscan wineries to receive PEFC certification for sustainable forest management.
