Wine & Dine - Tenuta Frescobaldi on October 9th, 2026

About the evening
For centuries, the wines of the Frescobaldi family have embodied the essence of Tuscany. Ideal climatic conditions, diverse soils, and a deep connection to the terroir create the foundation here for wines of great elegance, structure, and expressiveness.
For many years, the family has been successfully involved in Tuscan wine culture with four top-tier wineries. This evening, we will immerse ourselves in the world of the Sangiovese grape variety and experience wines from the renowned regions of Chianti and Montalcino.
An exciting wine tasting that shows how diverse and multifaceted Sangiovese can be interpreted — shaped by origin, style, and tradition.
How the evening works
The entire evening will be moderated by our wine expert. For each course, we will introduce the accompanying wines: their origin, their special characteristics, and the philosophy of the Frescobaldi family.
There will always be room for questions — whether about the Sangiovese grape variety, the respective regions, or the aging of the wines. You do not need any prior knowledge, just curiosity and a love for enjoyment.
The wines
This evening, we will taste selected wines from the Frescobaldi family from Tuscany:
For the aperitif: Alie Rosé Toscana
Castello di Pomino Benefizio Riserva DOC

Tenuta Frescobaldi di Castiglioni Toscana
Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
These wines impressively demonstrate the stylistic diversity of Tuscany.

As a food accompaniment, we will serve our usual corresponding 4-course menu, which picks up on the style of the wines and complements the enjoyment in a culinary way.

Frescobaldi
Marchesi de' Frescobaldi is one of Tuscany's great names – and has been for some 700 years. Today, the family manages nine individual estates, from the cool Apennine slopes of Pomino to Chianti Rufina and the Maremma coast, clearly capturing the unique characteristics of each terroir in the bottle. Tiziana, Lamberto, and Diana Frescobaldi run the estate as the 30th generation, with the same commitment as their ancestors: to take tradition seriously without sacrificing innovation. Since 2012, all estates have held the AgriQualità certification of the Tuscany region; Castello Nipozzano and Castello Pomino were also the first Tuscan wineries to receive PEFC certification for sustainable forest management.
