Albizzia Chardonnay Toscana

Albizzia Chardonnay Toscana IGT from the Marchesi de' Frescobaldi winery is a modern, fresh Chardonnay from Tuscany that combines the classic elegance of the grape variety with typical Italian freshness and lightness. The wine comes from the sun-drenched vineyards of Tuscany, where warmer ripening conditions allow the grapes to develop juicy fruit and well-developed alcohol without feeling heavy.

In the glass, it shines with a delicate, straw-yellow hue and a vibrant shimmer. The nose reveals a fine, fruity bouquet with aromas of pear, apple, citrus fruits, pineapple, banana, and tropical notes such as passion fruit , complemented by subtle floral accents, light herbal notes, and sometimes delicate nutty undertones. The wine is aged predominantly in stainless steel tanks, which preserves its freshness, clarity, and abundant fruitiness; depending on the vintage, a brief period of oak aging can add further warmth and roundness to the blend.

On the palate, the Albizzia Chardonnay Toscana is dry, soft, and smooth, with a fine, lively acidity that ensures balance and drinkability. The fruit is concentrated but not overpowering, with a clean, fruity, and fresh finish.

Frescobaldi

Marchesi de' Frescobaldi is one of Tuscany's great names – and has been for some 700 years. Today, the family manages nine individual estates, from the cool Apennine slopes of Pomino to Chianti Rufina and the Maremma coast, clearly capturing the unique characteristics of each terroir in the bottle. Tiziana, Lamberto, and Diana Frescobaldi run the estate as the 30th generation, with the same commitment as their ancestors: to take tradition seriously without sacrificing innovation. Since 2012, all estates have held the AgriQualità certification of the Tuscany region; Castello Nipozzano and Castello Pomino were also the first Tuscan wineries to receive PEFC certification for sustainable forest management.
