Aire de Protos Rosado

The Aire de Protos Rosado from Bodegas Protos is a rosé wine from the heart of Castile – for those who prefer their rosé to be lively and expressive rather than tame and pale.

In the glass, it displays a luminous pale pink with delicate bluish reflections – a first indication of the care with which Bodegas Protos works in the Ribera del Duero. The aromas are refined and complex: red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry take center stage, complemented by notes of white peach and a floral lightness that lends the wine its distinctive freshness.

On the palate, it is pleasantly lively, with a good balance between fruity richness and invigorating acidity. Not a heavy, not a quiet wine – but one that awakens desire.

Enjoy it well chilled, ideally between 8 and 10 °C :

  • As an accompaniment to light summer dishes, salads and tapas
  • Fish and seafood
  • Just like that, as an aperitif on a long evening

Bodegas Protos

Bodegas Protos – a story that began in 1927. Eleven friends, who had known each other since childhood, joined forces to preserve their families' winemaking tradition. Their dream: not only to produce great wines, but also to put the Ribera del Duero region back on the world's radar. Today, the cooperative is owned by over 250 families – many in their third generation. They draw on the knowledge of their ancestors while keeping a forward-looking perspective. A team of eight oenologists and eight engineers works under the leadership of Marilena Bonilla. The result: Spain's most visited winery in Ribera del Duero (40,000 visitors annually) and the one with the most Twitter followers. Ribera del Duero, as it truly is.
