David & Nadia
David & Nadia –
Craftsmanship and Terroir from the Swartland
David and Nadia Sadie founded their winery in 2010 on the Paardebosch farm in Swartland , one of South Africa's most exciting wine regions. David, who grew up in Swartland, and Nadia, both graduates of Stellenbosch University specializing in viticulture and soil science, brought a clear vision from the outset: wines that allow the terroir to speak for itself without overpowering it.
The grapes come from their own farm as well as from select partner winegrowers in the region who share the same philosophy – gentle cultivation, low yields, and respect for old vines. In the cellar, the couple works with minimal intervention: natural fermentation, restrained use of oak, and no over-polishing. The result is wines with depth and tension that translate the stark beauty of the Swartland directly into the glass.
The portfolio is divided into the "David & Nadia Range" and the "Single Vineyard Range"—from approachable blends to single-vineyard wines that showcase the multifaceted nature of the Swartland. Those unfamiliar with Chenin Blanc, Grenache, or Syrah from this region will find a compelling introduction here.
