Weingut In den Zehn Morgen Riesling Krötenpfuhl

Ten months on the lees, hand-picked, gently pressed — the Krötenpfuhl shows what the Nahe vineyard in Bad Kreuznach can make from Riesling: a precise, lively white wine with backbone.

The In den Zehn Morgen winery cultivates its Riesling grapes in the single vineyard site Auf dem Krötenpfuhl in Bad Kreuznach. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks keeps the fruit pure and direct, while subsequent aging on the fine lees for ten months gives the wine texture and depth.

In the glass, the Riesling presents aromas of lemon, lime, and fresh herbs, underpinned by a spicy, slightly salty minerality. On the palate, a firm acidity supports the flavor profile—not a soft, crowd-pleasing wine, but one with a clear line and a long, dry finish.
