Winery In den Zehn Morgen Kreuznacher Pinot Noir Zehnm
A Pinot Noir that shows what the Nahe Valley is capable of: cool, mineral, with the elegant fruit that makes this grape variety so fascinating.
The In den Zehn Morgen winery is located in Bad Kreuznach – one of Germany's oldest wine regions, characterized by porphyry and slate soils that give the wine a distinctive mineral depth. The winery's name refers to a historical field name and stands for traditional craftsmanship in the vineyard.
In the glass, the Pinot Noir shines a clear ruby red. The nose opens with aromas of black cherry and plum, accompanied by damp stone, a hint of smoke, and subtle undergrowth. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, the acidity is crisp and lively, and the tannins are silky with a pleasantly firm grip. The finish is spicy and mineral, with a medium length.
- Food pairings: Roasted duck breast, lamb chops with herb crust, mature goat cheese or mushroom risotto
- Serving temperature: 16–18 °C
- Drinking window: Now until 2028
