In den Zehn Morgen Winery Kreuznacher Grauer Burgunder

A Pinot Gris from Bad Kreuznach — that means volcanic Rotliegend sandstone under the vines and a style that moves between robust spice and ripe fruit.

The In den Zehn Morgen winery operates in the Nahe region, one of Germany's most diverse wine regions. The vineyard name refers to historical field measurements around Bad Kreuznach—a wine-growing area known for its mineral-rich soils and mild climate.

In the glass, this Pinot Gris displays ripe pear and quince, along with nutshell and a hint of white pepper. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with lively, not overly aggressive acidity and a spicy, slightly mineral finish. It's not heavy and oaky—rather fresh and textured.

Pairs well with pan-fried sea bream with herb butter, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or strong mountain cheese. Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Best enjoyed now until 2027.
