Clear and finely juicy, firm body with power and backbone, racy and invigoratingly fresh, very dark berry fruit that seems to rise from the depths, like from a cold well, with fresh herbs and light wood spice, some tannin on the palate, slightly drying, a hint of extract sweetness, good balance, dried plums with cassis, spice, dried chocolate crêpe, and a touch of cold smoke.
