Tina Pfaffmann Grauer Burgunder

A Pinot Gris from the Palatinate that combines creaminess and freshness in one glass — with natural carbonation for a light refreshing touch.

Tina Pfaffmann manages her vineyard in the Southern Palatinate with a focus on gentle processing: minimal intervention in the cellar to allow the wine to retain its natural character. Her Pinot Gris is made from grapes that translate the sunny Palatinate climate into ripeness and body—while simultaneously preserving the freshness that distinguishes good Pinot Gris from heavy, uninspiring wines.

In the glass, it displays a golden-yellow color with a slight shimmer. The nose offers aromas of ripe pear, white peach, and a hint of brioche. On the palate, a creamy texture is achieved through careful winemaking, accompanied by a fine, natural perlage that enlivens and lengthens the finish. The acidity is well-integrated and not overpowering, making it approachable and a perfect food pairing. Falstaff awarded the 2020 vintage 90 points.

Serving suggestion: Chilled to 10–12 °C. Pairs well with asparagus with hollandaise sauce, tarte flambée with crème fraîche and onions, or pan-fried pike-perch with buttered vegetables. Also excellent as an aperitif. Best enjoyed now until 2026.

Tina Pfaffmann Winery

Tina Pfaffmann Winery – authentic Palatinate, joie de vivre in every drop. In 2000, Tina took over the 15-hectare family winery in Frankweiler and established it under her own name. Her philosophy: "This is me or "This is not me." Every year anew, always close to nature. Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and more grow on clay and limestone soils. The creative vinification makes all the difference: vines over 40 years old, fermentation in 100-year-old stoneware containers, extended skin contact. Gault Millau and gourmet guides recognize this. Music in the cellar, personality in every bottle. Taste, enjoyment, emotion.
