Tina Pfaffmann Riesling Ü40

Tina Pfaffmann Riesling Ü40
A Riesling that doesn't hide its origin: old vines, fully ripe grapes, a straightforward expression of the Palatinate.
Tina Pfaffmann manages her vineyard in Venningen in the Southern Palatinate with a distinct style. The Riesling Ü40 lives up to its name—the vines from which it originates are over 40 years old. Deep root systems mean lower yields, but more concentrated fruit and a natural balance between ripeness and freshness.
In the glass, it displays yellow peach and citrus notes, underpinned by a subtle herbal nuance and the spicy depth typical of Palatinate Riesling. The palate is full-bodied without heaviness, the acidity well-integrated – the wine is round and easy to drink without losing its structure. Medium-long, fresh, and mineral finish.
