Tina Pfaffmann Riesling No. 9

Tina Pfaffmann Riesling No. 9
A Riesling from the Palatinate that combines the aromatic strength of this grape variety with Palatinate warmth – fresh, lively and easy to drink.
Tina Pfaffmann runs her vineyard in southern Rhineland-Palatinate, one of Germany's sunniest wine regions. The soils of the Southern Palatinate – limestone, loess, and sandy soils – give Rieslings here a somewhat fuller, fruitier character than those from the Mosel or Nahe regions. The Riesling No. 9 stands for approachable enjoyment without a long wait.
In the glass, it displays aromas of yellow apple, citrus peel, and a hint of white peach. The acidity is present but not harsh – it gives the wine freshness and length without being sharp. The finish is clean and dry with a slightly mineral aftertaste.
