Taittinger Les Folies de la Marquetterie Bouteille

Les Folies de la Marquetterie is a single-vineyard cuvée from Taittinger – made exclusively from grapes grown around the Château de la Marquetterie near Épernay, which has belonged to the Taittinger family since 1932.

In the glass, ripe stone fruit, white peach, and quince are underpinned by vanilla and toasted brioche. The texture is full-bodied, the acidity well-integrated, and the finish long and slightly spicy.

Pairs well with lobster in butter sauce, sweetbreads, or mature Brie de Meaux. Serving temperature: 9–11 °C. Drinking window: now until 2030.

Taittinger

Champagne Taittinger from Reims is one of the great names of Champagne – a house that has existed since 1734 and received its current name in 1932, when Pierre Taittinger combined his vision with the third oldest Champagne house in history. What distinguishes Taittinger to this day is its consistent approach: Chardonnay is at the heart of every blend, lending the wines their characteristic freshness and finesse. With 288 hectares of its own vineyards in the best locations in Champagne – including Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs – and UNESCO-listed chalk cellars dating back to the 4th century, the Champagne produced here is far more than just a drink: it is the expression of a family business that has preserved its values for generations.
