Taittinger Brut Millésimé in GP Bouteille

Taittinger Brut Millésimé in GP Bouteille
Taittinger only bottles a vintage champagne in exceptional years — 2015 was such a year: a warm, dry summer, early harvest, concentrated musts. Only first-pressing musts are used for this vintage champagne, which gives the cuvée its characteristic finesse.
After five years of lees aging, the 2015 Brut Millésimé displays white blossoms, ripe citrus fruit, and a delicate toasty note in the background. The perlage is fine, the finish dry with lingering freshness. Ready to drink now, it will develop more depth and complexity with further cellaring.
Enjoy neat as an aperitif, or with scallops, lobster, or light poultry. Serving temperature: 8–10 °C.

Champagne Taittinger from Reims is one of the great names of Champagne – a house that has existed since 1734 and received its current name in 1932, when Pierre Taittinger combined his vision with the third oldest Champagne house in history. What distinguishes Taittinger to this day is its consistent approach: Chardonnay is at the heart of every blend, lending the wines their characteristic freshness and finesse. With 288 hectares of its own vineyards in the best locations in Champagne – including Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs – and UNESCO-listed chalk cellars dating back to the 4th century, the Champagne produced here is far more than just a drink: it is the expression of a family business that has preserved its values for generations.
