Champagne Taittinger Nocturne Sec in GP Bouteille
Taittinger Nocturne Sec is a Champagne with 17–20 g/l residual sugar – significantly more than a Brut, but far from dessert-style sweetness. This dosage level was long the hallmark of large evening gatherings and is now experiencing a quiet renaissance.
On the nose, ripe pear, white peach, and a hint of brioche. On the palate, the residual sweetness supports the acidity without masking it – hence the round, smooth finish with light notes of nuts and toasted bread. The cuvée is based on Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier from the Taittinger estate: fruity, creamy, and approachable.
Ideal with blue cheese , light fruit-based desserts, or Asian dishes with a mild sweetness. Serving temperature: 8–10 °C.
